– Drivers will be grouped by skill level, however this night is best suited for intermediate level drivers / those who have nailed the basics of the Tuned. X Drift Starter Course.
– Our Tuned. X Drift Coaches will be on the sidelines & ready to answer ANY QUESTIONS you have about getting sideways!
– Small group & private environment
– Passengers welcome – They must wear the same required safety attire as explained in driver requirements. Passenger passes are $50 per person, payable upon arrival at event.
Note: Tuned. X Drift Academy is a no spectator event, however your family / friends / cheer squad (Up to 4 people) are welcome to join us – Entry is FREE.
Requirements: Driver
– Arrival time: 1 hour prior to your allocated booking time
– An ADR approved helmet is included with Tuned. X Drift Starter & Drift Master – NOT Tuned. X Drift Nights (OR you can bring yours – Must be AS1698 / EC / ECE / SNELL Approved)
– Non flammable long sleeve top & pants – No nylon / No polyester, covering your neck, wrists & ankles
– Fully enclosed shoes & long socks that cover ankles
– Minimum age 16 years old (With a parent / guardian present to sign in)
– Confident driving a manual car
– Racers Clubman License. If you don’t already have one – no stress! We can organise one for you through Racers direct on the day ($50 – One day / $95 – Annual).
Note: We recommend Annual, as it can be used for many other drifting activities across the board.
Requirements: Car (If Bringing YOURS!)
– Car must be roadworthy & pass scrutineering (Checklist available HERE)
– Please ensure your car has the correct oil & water levels
– Full tank of fuel
– Must be rear wheel drive (AWD / FWD owners: Please contact us)
– Manual transmission recommended
– LSD or locked diff
– All loose items should be removed from vehicles
Additional Info
Passengers (Drift Starter & Drift Master) – Passengers are NOT permitted for Tuned. X Drift Starter & Drift Master courses – As you will have a coach with you in the passenger seat for your entire drift journey!
Passengers (Drift Nights) – Passengers are permitted for Tuned. X Drift Nights. Passenger passes are available @ the event – The cost is $50 per person.
Multiple Classes – Multiple Tuned. X Drift Academy classes may be run in parallel, however will be segregated by group. If you have friends you would like to share your drift experience with, please ensure you both book the same class.
Weather – All Tuned. X Drift Academy courses will run regardless of weather conditions. If for any reason we need to cancel or postpone, we will contact you via phone & email.
Cancellations – Once you complete your booking, we simultaneously organise your car, coach & the booking with Sydney Motorsport Park to ensure we can cater for you – As a result, all bookings are naturally NON REFUNDABLE. We may be able to switch your booking to another date (same course only) or switch driver details with a minimum of 7 days notice – however after this 7 day window, all fees paid are forfeit. If you would like to transfer your booking to another driver, please provide prior communication to advise. This communication must be received by us from original booked attendee, also with a minmum of 7 days notice. ‘No show’ or cancellation refunds are not available. To keep it fair for all customers, only 1x date or driver change per booking is possible.

Is a car provided?
YES! If you select the ‘SLIDE OUR CAR’ option – We will get you strapped in to the drivers seat of a Tuned. X 350Z for your Drift Academy Experience.
However, if you would like to get more familiar with YOUR CAR – this is also an option and you are able to bring yours on track using the ‘SLIDE YOUR CAR’ option upon booking.
What about fuel, tyres - etc?
If you’re sliding OUR CAR – Tyres, fuel & any other wear & tear items (Including your coach!) are included in the cost of your course.
If you’re sliding YOUR CAR – we do not cover costs for these items!
What do I need to wear?
An ADR approved helmet is included (OR you can bring yours – Must be AS1698 / EC / ECE).
You’ll also need a non flammable long sleeve top, pants & fully enclosed shoes.
Do I need a licence?
You will need a Racers Clubman License. If you don’t already have one – no stress! We can organise one for you through Racers direct on the day ($50 – One day / $95 – Annual).
Note: We recommend Annual, as it can be used for many other drifting activities across the board.
Can I bring my own helmet?
Yes, however an ADR approved helmet is included!
You can bring your own helmet, however it must be AS1698 / EC / ECE / SNELL Approved.
